Detector (Live Scanning)

The Detector screen is the main scanning view. It displays a real-time signal readout as you sweep the sensor head over the ground.

Starting a Scan Line

1. Hold the sensor head parallel to the ground at a consistent height.
2. Press the control button (short press) to balance the sensor — this sets the zero reference for the current ground.
3. Walk in a straight line while watching the signal on screen.
4. Press the control button again to stop recording the scan line.

Audio Alerts

When a target is detected, the app plays an audio alert through the phone speaker or connected headphones. The pitch and frequency of the alert increase as signal strength increases.

Signal Display

The live signal bar on the Detector screen shows the current sensor reading. Strong readings — indicating a potential buried object — cause the bar to spike and trigger the audio alert.

tip

Sweep slowly and at a constant height for the most accurate readings. Rushing or raising the sensor head too high weakens detection sensitivity.
