GoldHunter
Is the GoldHunter app available for Android?
No. The GoldHunter app is iOS only and requires an iPhone 6s or later. The 3D Ground Scan with AR feature requires an iPhone 6s or newer.
What detection depth can I expect?
Detection depth depends on soil mineralisation, target size, and operating mode. Typical results:

All-Metal mode with proper ground balance gives the deepest results. Highly mineralised soil reduces depth significantly.
Is the GoldHunter waterproof?
The searchcoil is waterproof and can be submerged. The Smart Control Unit is not waterproof — protect it from rain and do not submerge it.
Can I use GoldHunter on a beach?
Yes, but wet sand and saltwater contain high levels of salt minerals that produce strong false signals. Use All-Metal mode with careful ground balance. Start with the Gain knob at a low setting and increase slowly.
What battery does GoldHunter use?
A single 9V battery — alkaline, rechargeable lithium-ion, or nickel-metal hydride. Battery life is up to 5 hours. Remove the battery when storing the detector for extended periods.

Is the TreasureHunter3D Visualizer app available on Android?
Yes. The TreasureHunter3D Visualizer app is available for both iOS (App Store) and Android (Google Play). The Professional 3D scan mode (GoldenEye Plus only) requires iPhone 6S or later running iOS 11 or later.

Are the handheld detectors waterproof?
No. The detectors are not waterproof. Do not expose them to rain or submerge them in water.
What is TreasureLight?
TreasureLight is a compact, rod-free sensor probe with a built-in illumination light. It connects via Bluetooth and is ideal for scanning in confined spaces or low-light environments. It supports Basic 3D scan mode.
DroneRover
Which drone models does DroneRover support?
DroneRover can be attached to any drone. The DJI Phantom 4 Advanced is recommended — it enables full automatic flight mode via the DroneRover app. With other drones, only the Fast Scan feature and manual flying are available.
Is DroneRover available for Android?
No. The DroneRover app is iOS only and requires an iPhone 6 or newer.
Can DroneRover detect non-metallic objects?
Yes. DroneRover uses a 3D magnetic sensor that detects anomalies in the earth's magnetic field. This allows it to detect both metallic and certain non-metallic objects such as buried voids, tunnels, and geological anomalies.
How large an area can DroneRover scan in one flight?
Scan area per flight depends on drone battery charge, flight altitude, and scan resolution. As a rough guide:

Can I use DroneRover without GPS?
No. Both the drone and the DroneRover app require a stable GPS lock to function. The app maps sensor readings to GPS coordinates in real-time. In areas with poor GPS (indoors, under dense tree cover), results will be unreliable or unavailable.
