Settings Menu
The settings menu has two tabs: Sensor Settings and Flight Settings.
Sensor Settings Tab
Sensitivity
Defines how strongly the sensor responds to underground objects. See Sensor Settings & Calibration for detailed guidance on profiles and custom tuning.
Best sensitivity is achieved with HIGH sensitivity selected and the drone flying close to the ground.
Calibration
Calibrate the sensor after mounting it on the drone. Press Calibrate and follow the on-screen steps. See the calibration procedure for full instructions.
Device Information
Displays the device model name and serial number — needed when contacting support or making a warranty claim.
Flight Settings Tab
Flight Mode
| Mode | Description |
|---|---|
| Auto | Drone flies automatically over the selected area |
| Manual | You fly the drone using the remote controller |
Scan Resolution
Controls how precisely the selected area is covered.
| Resolution | Speed | Line Spacing | Best For |
|---|---|---|---|
| HIGH | Slow | Narrow | Small or deep objects, maximum detail |
| MED | Medium | Medium | General-purpose scanning |
| LOW | Fast | Wide | Quick overview of large areas |
| CUSTOM | User-defined | User-defined | Advanced users |
Custom resolution lets you manually set scanning speed and distance between scan lines.
Altitude Hold
| Mode | Description |
|---|---|
| Constant | Drone maintains a fixed altitude above the takeoff point. Use for flat terrain. |
| Terrain | Drone follows the terrain contour, keeping a constant distance from the ground. Use for uneven terrain. |
Altitude
Distance from the ground at which the drone will scan. Lower altitude = stronger sensor signal. Recommended starting value: 10 m for a first scan; aim for 0.5–2 m in manual mode for maximum sensitivity.
